Holding various celebrations for different occasions, running picked programs, and giving purposeful speeches and sermons could be one of the least costly, most practical, and at the same time, the most efficient actions for promoting and stressing the changes in Iran’s society in the Pahlavi era and also highlighting the Reza Shah’s services and provoking the feelings of the mass of people so Pahlavi’s government made a particular attempt to persuade people to support the modernization program and diminishing the wave of opposition and resistance.
In this study, it has been aimed through analysis-documentation method by going through the documents, archival evidences and newspapers to answer questions like these: Which celebrations were held by government agents in areas such as Kurdistan? And how far have these celebrations been able to strengthen the governmental cultural policies in the area? The findings of the researcher show that holding public celebrations had temporary achievements and failed to make lasting changes in the thought and behavior of people in areas like Kurdistan.
