Despite its prominence and influence in contemporary Iranian history, particularly in the oil nationalization movement, the student movement and the political-social activism of the student population have rarely received independent attention and research. With the collapse of Reza Shah's autocratic rule, a political-social open space was established in Iran, providing a fertile ground for the activities of various political, social, and religious currents, parties, and organizations. The oil nationalization movement was one of the most important political-social movements in contemporary Iranian history, which widely provided a platform for organization, partisanship, and political mobilization of various social strata, including school students. This research, considering the central importance of students in the oil nationalization movement, using a historical method and collecting data based on sources, publications, documents, and memoirs remaining from this event, seeks to answer the question: What role did student organizations affiliated with the Tudeh Party in Tehran play in the oil nationalization movement? The research findings indicate that this period is one of the most important periods of political action by students and student organizations in contemporary Iranian history. The Tudeh Party, aware that movements always require action, political mobilization, organization building, and supporter organization, from among schools and the student population, and by organizing them, brought them into the field of political activism. Marches, rallies, slogan writing, and physical clashes were among the most common types of action, and Sharaf, Alborz, and Darolfonun high schools were the main centers of activism related to schools and Tudeh Party students.
