The arrival of new technologies in Iran was the source of profound changes in various social and cultural fields of the Qajar era. The photography industry entered Iran in the era of Mohammad Shah and its expansion began with the presence of male photographers from the Naseri era, and gradually, with the interest of women, the arrival of women photographers and the establishment of women's photography shops. The main question of the research is how these necessities and socio-cultural changes and their results are established. The purpose of this article is to examine the role and position of women and the role of influencing factors and how to enter social activities, emphasizing the issue of women photographers and photography of women. This article is done with historical research method and descriptive-analytical method with emphasis on Matila et al.'s global standard view in dividing the audience of new phenomena, and Charles Tilly's collective action model. The findings of the present research show that with the introduction of this technology into the social arena, in a collective action, firstly, noble women, one of the standard social groups, became interested in photography, and gradually, at the end of the Qajar period, women from other groups had the opportunity to participate in the photography arena. provided
