Abstract
The lateness of the concept of violence and its cultural roots and the importance of this issue in current studies reveal the necessity of adopting a historical approach in examining this phenomenon. Violence occurs in different forms of verbal, physical and various types of individual, group and family violence. Considering the diversity of the phenomenon of violence and difference maker and its actions and actors, this essay tries to find out the different types of violence and violent acts as well as the reasons for their appearance and examples in the Qajar period. Based on the descriptive-analytical method and relying on Žižek's theory of Slavic violence, analyze it. The findings of this study indicate the influence of the rigid structures of public culture and power relations and the discourse atmosphere of the Qajar era in the direction of using violence as a means of consolidating power by the repressive and disciplinary apparatus, showing law enforcement, attacking It has provided the status quo and subjugation of the subject in the form of violent actions.
