This research tried to describe and analyze the progression pattern of Japan from the perspective of the mentioned people. The data was gathered using library resources. The results indicated that the historical sources under investigation could provide a rational analysis of the reasons for the Japan progression pattern. Skepticism and critical and rational explanations could also be observed in these works. They have tried to explain the why and the what of the Japanese progressive pattern to provide a model for the Iranian progressive movement. <strong>چکیده </strong> <br />در سال های پیش از  پیروزی جنبش مشروطیت برخی از نخبگان و مورخان ایرانی ، پیشرفت ژاپن را مورد توجه قرار دادند و تلاش کردند علل آن را تبیین کنند.مساله پژوهش حاضر توصیف و تحلیل چگونگی پیشرفت و ترقی ژاپن از منظر این نویسندگان است. <br />گردآوری داده های اطلاعاتی بر اساس روش کتابخانه ایی انجام یافته است.مهم ترین نتایج بدست آمده نشانگر آن است که آثار تاریخی مورد مطالعه با گذار از توصیفات صرف به تبیین های عقلانی از مقوله ترقی و مدل ژاپنی آن پرداخته اند.شکاکیت و دیدگاه انتقادی و انواع تبیین های عقلانی در این آثار مشاهده می شود.ایشان تلاش کرده اند با تبیین چرایی و چیستی جریان ترقی خواهی ژاپنی ها الگویی مناسب برای حرکت ترقی خواهانه ایرانیان ارایه کنند. https://tuhistory.tabrizu.ac.ir/article_5370_0dfdb7f2b23c4a4ba2f02a55599e44bb.pdf
