This superior communication position, besides the economical condition of the region, attracted the Russians’ attention<strong>.</strong> Therefore, conquering this region became one of the most important purposes of Russian governors<strong>.</strong> The presence and influence of Russia in Guilan was accelerated after the wars between Iran and Russia. This caused many social-political consequences and led to the familiarity of the people of this region with the world’s new developments. This paved the way for some social-political movements. Under the influence of Iran’s relations with Russia and also Europe, Guilan was among the first regions witnessing numerous changes, such as the presence of Caucasus Armenian in Guilan, migration of Russian and Guilanese labors, Russian nationals’ interventions in the region, creation of the spirit of xenophobia, Guilan’s constitutional revolution and Rasht mutation. <strong>چکیده‌</strong> <br />در دوره‌ قاجار، گیلان‌ بخاطر وجود راه‌ ارتباطی‌ آسان‌تر ‌ مراکز داخلی‌ ایران‌به بنادر روسیه‌، به‌ عنوان دروازه‌ اروپا تبدیل‌ شد. این‌ موقعیت‌ برتر ارتباطی‌، در کنار شرایط‌ اقتصادی‌ این‌ منطقه‌ توجه‌ روسیه‌ را به‌ خود جلب‌ نمود. براین‌ اساس‌ تسلط‌ بر آن‌ از مهم‌ترین‌ اهداف‌ زمامداران‌ این‌ کشور گردید. حضور و نفوذ روسیه‌ در گیلان ‌بعد از جنگ‌های‌ ایران‌ و روس‌ سرعت‌ گرفت‌. این‌ امر پیامدهای‌ اجتماعی‌ ـ سیاسی‌ متعددی‌ در منطقه‌ بجای‌ گذاشت‌ و باعث‌آشنایی‌ اهالی‌ با تحولات‌ جدید جهان‌ شد و زمینه‌ برای‌ ایجاد خیزش‌های‌ اجتماعی- سیاسی‌ فراهم‌ گردید. بدین‌ ترتیب‌ گیلان‌ از اولین‌ نواحی‌ ایران‌ بود که‌ تحت‌ تأثیر روابط‌ با روسیه‌ و بالطبع‌ اروپا، تأثیرات‌ و تحولات‌ متعددی‌ را شاهد بود. حضور ارامنه ‌قفقاز در گیلان‌، مهاجرت‌ کارگران‌ روسی‌ و گیلانی‌، مداخلات‌ اتباع‌ روسی‌ در منطقه‌، ایجاد روحیه‌ بیگانه‌ستیزی‌، انقلاب‌ مشروطیت‌ گیلان‌ و تحولات‌ رشت‌ از آن‌جمله‌ بود. https://tuhistory.tabrizu.ac.ir/article_4880_ebb0b76c9e0683d3d5e3dd009dd1fbfc.pdf
