There were many factors affecting the Persian Famine of 1917- 1919, which can be generally divided into natural and human (internal and external) factors. The intentions of conduct of the landowners and government officials are of great importance to consider among the internal human factors, which played a key role in the mentioned food crisis during 1917- 1919 (mostly, shortage of bread and grain according to the historical records). These strata had a significant impact on the famine and other socioeconomic problems. Adopting an analytical-descriptive methodological approach,the goal of this research is to explain one of the effective factors in the public food (grain) crisis and its consequences. Using a descriptive-analytical method, this research aims to determine the effects of the perfermance of the owners and the authorities in the food crisis in 1917-1918. Moreover, it seeks to investigte the concequences of their performance. ایرانیان در طول تاریخ به‌صورت متناوب با قحطی و کمبود ارزاق مواجه‌ بوده‌اند. در این سالیان متمادی، عوامل متعددی بر بحران ارزاق تأثیر گذاشته که می‌توان در یک نگرش کلی این عوامل را به طبیعی و انسانی (داخلی و خارجی) تقسیم کرد. از میان عوامل انسانیِ داخلی که نقش مهمی در بحران ارزاق عمومی (در اسناد، بیشتر با عناوین غله و نان آمده است) داشته‌اند، عملکرد ملاکین و مسئولین حکومتی در سال‌های 1297 و 1296ش بسیار قابل تأمل است؛ چرا که اقدامات این گروه‌ها تأثیر قابل توجهی بر قحطی ارزاق و سایر مشکلات اجتماعی- اقتصادی بر جای نهاد. این پژوهش با هدف تبیین یکی از عوامل مؤثر در بحران ارزاق عمومی (غله) و پیامدهای آن، با روش توصیفی- تحلیلی به دنبال آن است تا مشخص سازد عملکرد ملاکین و مسئولین حکومتی چه نمودهایی در بحران ارزاق در سال‌های 1297- 1296ش داشت؟ و این عملکرد چه پیامدهایی به‌دنبال داشت؟ https://tuhistory.tabrizu.ac.ir/article_10348_00eaac74f6dcc1e59b85c86fadb71b1f.pdf
